The future looked bright.

They landed on Ragol and it was beautiful, like Lily had said to him. He wasn’t sure if he had believed it then – but he definitely believed it now. Wildlife that wasn’t quite harmful, forests and oceans, and a prosperous atmosphere … All the things they had dreamed of but had never been able to accomplish on Coral. It made the tanned man swallow – he’s not sure why he’s suddenly so anxious, but he is. He thought about the people that are waiting to come – of his best friend, Balmung, and he shook his head lightly.

He needed to be strong – he needed to create a life on this planet that him, and all of his friends could belong to. And that meant colonizing it.

So, he got to work, patrolling the edge, sharing a quirky smile with the blond RAmar as they passed each other. It was relatively peaceful – the patrols were more routine than anything, but Reginmund shook his head, raising a hand to block the sun as he stared into the blue sky.

He and John were doing their round of patrols as the others worked on helping to build the new colony. In the morning, it was them, and then Clastine and Aurora, Lania and Alexios and finally Liliana with Asuza. They had agreed to this – mostly considering that he, John, Clastine and Aurora were needed to help build throughout most of the day, while Asuza and Alexios were needed in studying the wildlife and nature of Ragol. Lania and Lily – although being incredible fighters, were better off making sure that the two Forces weren’t being mauled.

Reginmund let out a tiny snort – as if Alexios would let anything come close to him, and Asuza could burn anything to a crisp before it reached a few feet. But, it was part of precautions – and the last thing they wanted was to see either of the two to get hurt. After all, Asuza was the youngest by a few months, which they all liked to remind the teen about.

The new city was coming along well, he had to say. Pausing, he turned his head to stare at the uncompleted dome, the stark white blinding his eyes. It would be a long while until they finished it, but they were making smooth progress. They would get it, and the residential area finished, and maybe, just maybe, things would be okay.

He hoped.
